Gwent Music works with many groups in the wider community, as well as running 3 community music groups of its own.
Friends of Gwent Music
The main role of the Friends of Greater Gwent Youth Music is to source and provide funding to support the many activities of our Greater Gwent Youth Groups. In the past the Friends have provided financial support, including funding transport for the pupils to attend competitions, paying for equipment and paying for tutors for the courses.
Community Ensembles
Gwent Music run 3 community ensembles, open to older members than our Music Centres and Gwent Youth ensembles. They are all open to new members, please follow the links below for more information and for each group’s rehearsal and performance calendar:
