Llantilio Crossenny Anniversary Festival

This year we have Gwent Music groups performing in two concerts as part of this lovely festival. Please see the details below and visit their website for more details.

 

 

Saturday 3rd May 11am-4pm scenery painting and theatre lighting workshops

Friday 9th May 8pm at Treadam Barn
PUCCINI & PASTA
Cash bar available
London Opera Productions present a reduced version of Puccini’s “La Bohème” in costume with scenery whilst the audience sit at tables enjoying a wide selection of antipasti, salads & pasta dishes.

THE BARBER OF SEVILLE BY ROSSINI-reduced version suitable for children and adults

MUSICAL AFTERNOON TEA served at tables with the Cardiff Wind Quintet performing works by Hindemith, Barber, Damase, Carter and Nielsen.

GOSPEL MEETS JAZZ-Bluesy Susie, one of Wales’ outstanding jazz vocalists performs with the TMC Youth Gospel Choir.

AFTERNOON CONCERT
The Greater Gwent Brass Ensemble, an award winning 10 piece youth ensemble will perform a wide variety of brass music through the ages from Gabrielli to The Beatles. Their Musical Director, Sean O’Neill is the former principle tuba of WNO orchestra.
