Learn to sing or play and instrument

Gwent Music Service offers vocal and instrumental tuition to pupils in schools, during their school day across Blaenau Gwent, Newport, Monmouthshire and Torfaen.

Music lessons take place at school during the school day where possible; however, we also offer after school lessons at Gwent Music HQ.

34 sessions will be delivered over the academic year, the number of lessons per term varies.

Lessons are offered in small groups or on an individual basis.

Gwent Music places great importance on the quality of the staff placed in schools. All our tutors are specialist, talented musicians who are subjected to satisfactory employment checks being carried out including an enhanced DBS check. Gwent Music have an ongoing tutor observation process to ensure the quality of provision being delivered.
