Transport

For Gwent Students we ask that you make your own way there. If that’s not possible we will look for an alternative.

Refreshments

Please provide your child with a packed lunch each day. Do not include any nut products, as some students have severe airborne nut allergies. A tuck shop will also be available, selling drinks and sweet and savoury snacks.

If your child would like pizza on Sunday evening, please send £3 cash with them.

Music / iPads / Teams Rehearsal Room

iPads with access to the music will be provided during the course. Students may bring their own iPad or tablet if preferred. Please ensure all devices are clearly labelled with the student’s name. Participants will also be given access to our Teams rehearsal room through their Hwb or school email account, allowing them to practise the music at home.

Concert Dress – Sunday 18th October

Students should wear smart-casual black clothing for the concert. Black trousers, long black skirt, long sleeve shirt / top / blouse. Please avoid jeans or spaghetti straps. If wearing a shorter skirt, thick black tights should also be worn.

As changing facilities are not available, students should arrive wearing their concert attire. Some may wish to wear a jumper or alternative top during the day and remove it before the concert.

Choir members will wear a Marie Curie daffodil during the concert. If your child already has one, please bring it along. Otherwise, daffodils will be available on the day in exchange for a £1 donation to Marie Curie.

Concert

The course will conclude with a concert starting at 4pm on Sunday. To support the future of the South-East Wales Regional Choir and to help us meet health and safety requirements, tickets are required for all audience members. The minimum ticket price is £3.25; however, you may choose to pay more if you wish to make a donation to support future choir events. When you click ‘BOOK NOW’ you will be able to adjust the ticket price and select the number of tickets needed. A small booking fee will be added at checkout and will be displayed before payment is confirmed.
