Sŵn Celtaidd (from Welsh: Celtic Sound) is a group of talented young people from across Gwent who play the traditional music of the British Isles with youthful passion, energy and humor.
Since forming in 2012 the group has performed at concerts and festivals across Wales and England as well as being a regular feature at many Gwent Music events. The group has also performed several times at the National Festival of Music for Youth in Birmingham. The members of Sŵn Celtaidd, ranging in age from 13-18, play a variety of acoustic folk instruments including tin whistle, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, bagpipes, bodhran and cajon
